James' Place

James’ Place works to save the lives of men in suicidal crisis. The charity offers free, life-saving therapy to suicidal men at centres in Liverpool, London and Newcastle. They treat men, and those identifying as male, across the North East, North West and London and the surrounding area. The men they treat are in a suicidal crisis largely driven by life events such as a relationship breakdown, financial problems or bereavement.

James’ Place offers free, quick to access therapy delivered in a safe, friendly, non-clinical environment by trained, professional therapists.  Men can self-refer or be referred by a professional including those working in health and community services, or by a friend or family member. The centres have no waiting list and will typically see a man in crisis within 48 hours. Visit www.jamesplace.org.uk for more information.

We support the ZSA because it is vital that we all take action to prevent suicide. Taking the ZSA training can help you have a life-saving conversation.

We believe nobody should face a suicidal crisis alone.  We help suicidal men quickly, when they need us.
