Our mission is to promote Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) compliance and to ensure trust, transparency, and compassion for anyone who has been bereaved.
We are proud to partner with Liverpool City Council and Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to provide impartial, independent, and unbiased advice.
Our aim is to support individuals in planning a funeral, finding a funeral director, and accessing comprehensive bereavement support.
At Funeral Experts, we provide holistic support to those dealing with bereavement.
Our services include welfare benefits advice, council tax advice, death notification, grants searches, emotional support, probate and estate administration, and more.
We strive to empower people with choices and ensure they receive the necessary support during difficult times.
Our commitment to compassion and transparency ensures that every person receives the care and guidance they need.
Joining the Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA) is a significant step in demonstrating our commitment to fostering a supportive and safe environment for both staff and the community.
We believe that joining ZSA will significantly enhance our efforts to support those at risk of suicide and promote mental health awareness.
We aim to ensure at Funeral Experts, we equip our staff with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively support individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviours. By providing comprehensive training and resources through ZSA, we can ensure that our team is well-prepared to intervene and offer the necessary support.

Educate and empower: Provide comprehensive training and resources to all our staff to recognise the signs of suicidal ideation and intervene appropriately. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development in suicide prevention practices.
Create a supportive environment: Promote an open and supportive atmosphere where mental health issues can be discussed without stigma. Encourage and facilitate access to mental health resources and support for all individuals.
Collaborate and share: Work closely with other ZSA members and the wider community to share knowledge, strategies, and resources. Participate in joint initiatives and campaigns to raise awareness and drive collective action.
Commit to continuous improvement: Regularly review and enhance our policies and practices related to suicide prevention.Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health and suicide prevention.
Prioritise compassion and care: Ensure that every interaction with someone in distress is approached with empathy, understanding, and care. Advocate for and support individuals in accessing the help they need, when they need it.
Aim for Zero Suicide: Strive towards the goal of zero suicides within our organisation and the broader community. Commit to a holistic, integrated approach to mental health and suicide prevention.
