We've been updating our Suicide Awareness Training!
Over the past few months, we've been working on updating and refreshing our original suicide awareness training and want to thank everyone who shared their feedback to help us make improvements!
It's been seven years since the first ZSA Suicide Awareness Training launched and since then, this training has been taken over two million times and we've gone onto develop eight bespoke editions of the training including our most recent course, Autism and Suicide Awareness Training.
What's changing?
- updated introductory information with facts, figures and suicide warning signs
- improved look and functionality
- newly scripted and filmed scenarios with a buddy to coach you through different types of conversations.
We're currently in the final stages of the redevelopment and are excited that the updated training will be ready to launch on World Suicide Prevention Day, Tuesday 10 September! We'll be sharing a preview of the training during our Let's Talk About Suicide webinar on Monday 9 September.
The Suicide Awareness Training (version 2) will be available on the existing training webpage from Tuesday 10 September!
This training update was made possible by Mersey Cares (Mersey Cares NHS Charity). Charity registration no (1191576); funded by NHS Charities Together.
