The Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA), supported by Mersey Cares, is one of four successful projects in a bid for funding from NHS Charities Together.
This funding will be used to update and refresh our original 20-minute free online suicide awareness training course as well as the social isolation step up training introduced during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The training launched in 2017 and has been accessed an incredible 2.5 million times.
Since the original training launched, we have developed a further seven courses and are currently working on two others. Each time we develop new training, we learn more. We want to take that learning, as well as learning from feedback, to update and refresh the original training. We know the data needs updating and there are things we can do to improve the user experience and accessibility of the course content and we’re really excited to now be in a position to start this work.
We’ve been collecting and reviewing feedback about the training to understand what works well and where improvements can be made and are always keen to hear from more people around this.
Can you help us by sharing your feedback about our training? What do you think works well? What would make it better?
