Assist Trauma Care

Assist Trauma Care offers therapists trained in trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EDMR) and treating complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Assist Trauma Care no longer have a helpline but can offer email support via Assist Trauma Care email line.

NHS Inform offer a self-help guide for people with mild-to-moderate symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD). The guide aims to help you:

  • Consider whether you’re experiencing symptoms of PTSD or CPTSD.
  • Understand more about PTSD and CPTSD.
  • Think about ways to manage or recover from PTSD or CPTSD.
