March 2025 training figures

In March, our training courses were taken 11,656 times!

We know the importance of talking about suicide, but we also know how challenging and overwhelming that can feel. Through our courses, we aim to empower and equip people to have potentially lifesaving conversations.

By the end of March, our training courses had been taken a total of 2,833,564.

March testimonials include…

“I have experienced suicide in life and friends and family with severe depression.  This awareness is something I feel should be widely broadcast and it could help in many situations. I work for an organisation that deals with the general public and this awareness is needed, thank you.”

“What a valuable training this course is. It can save a life and help someone.”

“The training is informative. I have gained new insight into how to support people going through suicide thoughts. Thanks.”

“The training has given me the confidence to speak with my patients about suicide, listen to them, ask questions and signpost them to the right services.”

“Really impressed with the content and delivery - thank you.”

“Brilliant training - loved the inclusion of Active Listening. When I felt suicidal, the phrase 'sorry to hear that' felt very insincere. It felt better when someone actively listened and acknowledged that the situation was tough and that it was understandable why I felt that way. It removed a lot of shame. Someone feeling sorry for me made me feel like a massive burden.”

“This training covered critical aspects of identifying at-risk individuals, reducing stigma around discussing suicide, and equipping participants with intervention strategies. Thank you!”

“Excellent training. Very helpful, easy to follow and informative. Would definitely recommend this to the public.”

“Very effective training, thank you. Every person needs to have this training.”

“As a healthcare professional involved in practitioner support I have undertaken previous training on suicidality and red flags. This training is the best for clarity of how to handle the situation during the asking the question and the follow on conversation. It helps to hear real world examples from those who have been in the situation. The reference to the r;pple app is extremely helpful when managing concerns of potential negative influence.”
