The Zero Suicide Alliance has today launched the new look for their website, which will further help to reach the public and share the important message of suicide prevention.
Since the launch of the ZSA in 2017, over 500,000 people have accessed the free, online suicide prevention training.
Whilst this is a fantastic figure the ZSA recognise that it is important for the website to reflect the wider impact being achieved through innovative work and collaboration with national leaders in the field.
Lewis Smith-Connell,ZSA project manager said:
“We believe that together with our members there is innovative and important work that we should be sharing with the world, and now we can do that better".
"As one of the newest members of the team, it was important for me to get to grips with everything that the Alliance is involved with; who we are, and what brings us together. The new website will address these points and open up opportunities for us to share vital information on what is working, not just in the UK but also across the world."
"I hope that the new website will allow people to feel confident that this alliance is working hard and that it embodies their values and vision, and the information helps them to build the right solutions for their communities.”
The ZSA worked with Frank Designs, a website development agency based in the North West, with a long history of working with the NHS and other public services to get the most out of their websites. Working together the new site meets the highest levels of accessibility and security whilst also utilising a fresh and vibrant design.
Jamie Wise, Managing Director of Frank said, ‘We are delighted to be partnering with the ZSA on the national and international priority of suicide prevention. Our experienced digital team at Frank have enjoyed working closely with the ZSA to showcase their organization and the critical work they are doing. We are excited to see how the site will evolve over time”
The new website aims to support local suicide prevention groups through linking with an innovative sharing platform which will evolve over the next 12 months.
