Liverpool Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram and Luciana Berger MP have invited local businesses to come together to try and make the city region a zero suicide area.
They have invited local businesses to an event in Liverpool on 7 September to discuss suicide in the region and try and persuade them to introduce our Zero Suicide Alliance training into their offices.
In a joint letter to businesses, they say: "The training is simple, effective and easily accessible and in taking this training, you and your contacts and employees will be able to log on to this platform anytime, from anywhere, using any device, to take the course and make a real difference to our city region.
"We want to see as many organisations as possible across the Liverpool City Region agree to roll out this training and to come together during the week of World Suicide Prevention Day to celebrate our success."
Businesses who want to participate in the event, which will be held between 9.30am and 10.30am at 1 Mann Island, Liverpool, L3 1BP. To read the full joint letter regarding the event, visit the Liverpool Chamber website.
The Zero Suicide training can be accessed by visiting our website - it only takes 20 minutes to complete and you could save a life.
