West Mercia Police Force employ approximately 4,600 officers and staff covering Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin with their primary focus being on being to 'protecting people from harm'.
The organisation offers Police services for all citizens residing, visiting and traveling through it's geographical patch. The Occupational Health Service is responsible for the health of it's Officers/Staff at pre-placement stage, throughout their career within the organisation i.e. through health surveillance, advice on return to work following an absence, workplace adjustments, retirement on the grounds of ill health, psychological support, vaccinations, pro-active health and wellbeing initiatives.
We would like to upskill our Officers and Staff in suicide prevention both for colleagues/peers and the public. Your material would assist us to do this in addition to our internal documentation and processes.
