We care passionately about equality for the D/deaf community and believe independent access to information, products and services should be available to all.
We take services, products and information and translate them into a signed language. At present we have over 22 signed language translators although our core language is British Sign Language.
We work with organisations across different sector to make it easier for D/deaf people and the D/deaf community. This includes working with the Zero Suicide Alliance to translate training courses into British Sign Language.
Signcode has proudly been working with the Zero Suicide Alliance since 2017 and fully supports the work it does to improve suicide awareness and prevention.
We want to help breakdown barriers and bridge gaps to ensure D/deaf people do not feel isolated from society and are equipped with the skills and knowledge to support someone struggling with thoughts of suicide.
