The DPJ training sessions explore mental health conditions and provide an understanding of how to support individuals with poor mental health.

The training provides information on:

  • Mental health in Wales and Agriculture
  • Stigma of mental health
  • Suicide awareness and prevention
  • SHARE (the 5 step skill system)
  • Different mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, psychosis and self harm.
  • Practical skills about how to use the training in real life.
  • Resources and signposting to support.
  • Provides group based and practical sessions to encourage discussion.
